POSITION READING
Two Hall sensors are responsible for the precise reading of the shifter's position. They are sensitive to changes in the magnetic field generated by the magnet used. When the lever is in motion, these sensors create a digital signal, which is then transmitted to the controller. With this solution, the position of the shifter is accurately monitored
and transformed into appropriate control signals.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
The operating principle of the TAU SEQUENTIAL SHIFTER is based on a two-stage force change. This means that during the shift, the user first feels an increase in force, which decreases after reaching a certain point. Such a mechanism faithfully reflects the operation of a sequential gearbox, characteristic of racing cars, providing an authentic driving experience. The effect of the action is also boosted by the characteristic click during gear up and down.
BALL BEARINGS
The new V2 version has been improved with the use of ball bearings, which have replaced sliding sleeves. This change significantly improves the smoothness of moving parts and increases their durability, minimizing the need for frequent maintenance. With these upgrades, the TAU SEQUENTIAL SHIFTER V2 becomes a reliable piece of equipment that will serve you for many years.
SPRING
To adjust the shifter's force, a spring is used, the force of which - which determines the resistance to shifting gears - is adjusted by means of a knurled knob together with a flange nut. This solution allows you to easily and precisely change the force required to shift gears, making it possible to individually adjust the device to your own preferences and needs. A major advantage is that this change can be made at any time.
HANDLE
Thanks to its carefully designed construction, the handle can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. This is important, especially if you plan to mount the shifter vertically. This functionality allows users to tailor the shifter to their individual preferences and riding style, which significantly increases comfort and convenience. Thanks to this flexibility, TAU SHIFTER V2 perfectly meets the diverse requirements and expectations of gamers, offering them a unique racing simulation experience.
MOUNTING
The updated V2 version introduces a two-point mount (front, rear), which allows the shifter to be mounted directly on a 40mm-wide aluminum profile. With this change, the shifter as a simracing accessory has become more ergonomic and easier to install, eliminating the need to purchase additional components.
