The Heusinkveld Sim Shifter Sequential is a durable and compact sequential shifting system.
It is specifically designed to mimic sequential shift paddles.
Using a ball spring resistance system, shifting requires an early peak force, after which the resistance decreases. This simulates the sensation as if the transmission jumped into the next or previous gear while the lever is depressed.
The shifter is equipped with soft lever end stops, which ensures a relatively low noise level when shifting gears.
Adjustable
Each shifter comes with three different levers: one 30mm straight lever, one 50mm straight lever and one 50mm bent lever. Since the resistance in the shifter itself is constant, you can change the gear shift force by attaching a longer or shorter lever.
Additionally, each shifter comes with 3 types of plastic shift knobs ranging in lengths from 46mm to 90mm. In combination with different levers, this allows you to vary the total length of the lever/knob assembly (measured from the top of the main gear lever) from 76 mm to 140 mm.
With three different levers and three different knobs, you’ll have a total of 9 possible configurations.
The lever uses an M10 thread, so you will also be able to attach any other third-party knob that is compatible with this size.
Mounting
Each shifter is supplied with a table clamp. This allows the shifter to be connected to any table-like surface. The table clamp can be detached from the shifter if you need another mounting solution.
An alternate mounting plate is supplied with each shifter to assist in mounting to the structure on the side or under the unit. It is possible to rotate the shifter assembly relative to this mounting plate to optimize the shifter position. This plate fits directly into aluminium profiles up to 40mm in size.

The Sim Shifter Sequential has a 4×1 2.54mm integrated controller board. This allows the shifter to be connected/integrated with an external controller, such as our own Sim Pedals USB controller (or any other third-party controller that offers an interface for the switches). If you want to use this method, you’ll need to build your own k with a shift module that offers two connectivity options, all integrated into one unit. It is possible to use the shifter as a standalone controller by connecting it to a computer using the supplied USB cable. This means that Shifter will appear as a separate device in Windows.
